I am soooo mean during clinical days that I am taking it to my advantage and told Peter that from now on, I am going to be assertive at restaurants. We waited for 45 mins. for our appetizers (his was the soup of the day so Im guessing it was pre-made and mine was a tomato salad). When 2 tables that came in after us got their appetizers and we still had not, I went up to the front and asked for the bill minus the appetizers and main meals Peter and I ordered. Right away, the manager came out and insisted that she bring out our appetizers and she did. Then, when she asked the kiddies if they want dessert, they delightedly ordered. But 20 mins. later, when the kids still didnt get their desserts, I made us walk out without paying for the appetizers because I work for my money and so should they (as I only sit on average 1 1/2 hours during an entire clinical day). To top it off, I had to ask for the stupid buns and the kids didnt get their juice until they were done eating their spaghettis! Anyways.... lol.
