I am still gathering my thoughts and facts about what happened on - TopicsExpress

I am still gathering my thoughts and facts about what happened on Tuesday, even though I was there at all 3 sites (and back and forth some) most of the day. As im sorting out pics and video, Im noticing lots of things I didnt see at the time I took the pictures. I see plans within plans. I see police cars hidden behind hills, multiple tow trucks and one ambulance. i see days worth of preparation to thwart the Peoples movement on the mountain, pretty much all of which failed in the end. thanks to the magic of zoom lens, I also captured a few shots of the groundbreaking ceremony or at least people leaving it, and I didnt see that until later either. In case anyone thinks the TMT blockade was preplanned, you would be right. but it was NOT the People who blocked the road first, it was the fake State. They blocked driveways and access roads with machinery, gravel piles, ranger vehicles, etc. they had THREE tow trucks (just that I saw, maybe more) already up there ready to go. people went up to pray and see the TMT site and were blocked at the Y in the road and prevented from going any further by authorities from the police department, the Sheriffs Department, UH, Office for Mauna Kea Management (OMKM) and certainly several other elected officials, departments and agencies. It is known that these agencies met with several different People involved in Tuesdays events ahead of time and that they did everything they could to prepare for a road block, including pre-empting any sort of embarrassing situation by causing one themselves. THATS why the People decided to lay themselves in the road and leave their vehicles where they had been stopped. There was already a road block in place when the People reached the summit. To be clear, this was way more of a REaction than an action. The people that risked their freedom and their personal safety to take a stand for the mauna should be congratulated and thanked for their quick thinking and appropriate, peaceful response.
