I am still looking for the right home for Ernie. Ernie is a great dog. He loves people, animals and has a deep desire to love and be loved. He really deserves to be in a loving home, with room to run and play (although he does fine in an apartment and is quite calm indoors). He would also do best in a home with another doggie as he really loves other dogs and I know having a furry brother/sister would make the transition easier for him. I am hoping to find a solution locally, but am willing to personally transport him literally anywhere in the USA/Candida if the right persons presented themselves and wanted to adopt him. Please help Ernie by forwarding this widely to your friends and family. I can also be emailed at Karina3213@gmail -Ernie is a 20lb Beagle/Shepard mix -Ernie is medium-medium/high energy. 7 years young! People ask if he is a puppy all the time when we are out on walks, do to his spry and playful nature. -Ernie is perfectly house trained, NEVER chews on furniture/clothes and gets along great with people/kids and animals. He is generally quite calm when indoors. -Ernie would thrive in a loving home with a family, ideally a home with another doggie brother/sister. He really loves the company of other dogs and I know having a furry companion would make the transition easier for him. Ernie would be a great addition to any loving family. -Ernie is SPECIAL NEEDS; He has a mild epileptic condition that requires 3 doses of medication per day. As dogs require 3 walks a day, I simply give Ernie his pill before his walk. This condition is very well controlled with medication and I am happy to report he is actually aging better then most dogs half his age. No one ever believes he is 7 years old. Ernie is truly a little miracle puppy. -The most important thing to know about Ernie is that he is an unquestionably good dog. He has an ingrained deep desire to love and be loved fully. He belongs in a loving stable home and any family would be blessed to have him.
