I am still utterly stunned about this news at my former employer WNST Radio -- Baltimore. While I understand the business of media is cutthroat and hypercritical of every mistake that is made, this did not deserve to happen to any of those people. Glenn taught me so much about dealing with people in the business and also about a lot of the technical sides of radio that some lose sight of. Drew is one of the most talented hosts Ive ever been around and he believed in me enough to give me my shot at the Baltimore Sports Media Superstar Competition in 2012. Ashley and Paul handled all of the business no one wanted to take on. They were always asked to go above and beyond and keep a lot of pressure off of other employees in dealing with clients. Finally, Ryan is a tremendous person, a great audio engineer and also an extraordinary producer/content provider who was probably the only other on-call 24/7 employee if something hit the fan outside of the great Luke Jones. I am shocked that making money via sales and business ventures is probably the sole reason for this as these people deserve better than that. They also deserve more than a paragraph showing just how valuable they have been to the company. I am disappointed to hear about my friends losing jobs that they should still have because they didnt lose them based on talent.
