I am still very much a presence in your life. I know you feel like I cannot be anything to you because of the distance between us, yet your body trembles at my words. You find comfort in my presence and you beg me not to go. I forsake sleep for you and food and I struggle to find new ways to excite you as I fight through the pain of neglect. There is confusion at times, impatience at others and frustration but on some occasion there is passion, laughter and an understanding that comes through tortured souls who yoke themselves with kindred spirits. So often, a journey starts shoulder to shoulder and becomes hand in hand and eventually arm in arm until two souls become one in a fever of lustful pleasure.
