I am stunned at the posts I see from so many preachers of the Word on Facebook. I hardly read one post from them that has that message, Repent ye... as part of it. Instead, they proclaim blessings on their followers and hopeful followers only if they type Amen to their posts. There is nothing wrong with proclaiming blessings but Gods prerequisite for receiving those blessings is not by typing or saying Amen! We must fit into Gods standard and not set up ours. Most people will say Amen... so be it to a prayer anyway. Sinner and saint must conform to thus saith the Lord. The sinner through repentance and the saint by daily consecration and adherence to Gods law. New wine does not go into old bottles. Gods mercy makes us recipients of His favor in our lives so many times. We just should not confuse that and assume it is His acceptance of a lifestyle He clearly does not approve of in His Word. The Gospel of Jesus is not just a feel good Gospel! Now Im wondering, are we in a game of who has the best statistics? Im sorry but someone has to call out this practice. We are told to Preach the Word. Be instant in and out if season. Preach the Word regardless of circumstance, medium or how you feel. Just preach Gods Word. He will do the rest. It seems to me that Facebook is being used as a recruitment center where gimmicks are used to lure in new converts. Proclaim a message that will appeal to many and they will flock in. God is watching us... from a distance. One day He will ask us how we used that talent. He will demand if we fed His sheep. He will ask, what did you feed them with? Yes, I am up in arms about this. Just saying.
