I am taking a chance that there will be some country music fans on this page interested in a little Australian Country Music history. My father, Ernie Davidson, was an Australian Music Pioneer. He was the composer of the music of the first all Australian song reviewed and listed by American Billboard on 31 January 1948. The recording by Captain Stubby and the Buccaneers was made in New York in 1947. The song titled Kiss-Kiss-Kissin in the Corn has been commercially recorded seven times. Three times in USA (1947 & 1948) and four times in Australia. Here is a version also recorded in USA in 1947 by Dale Evans, wife of our favorite singing cowboy Roy Rogers. I hope you enjoy it
