I am that child who came to this country illegally who those ignorant people assumed would become a burden to this beautiful country. Well guess what???? This wet back has been a US citizen for years, owns her own business, has raised three children on her own and has never forgotten where she came from. Guatemala saw me born but the US has seen me grow. I pay a shit load of taxes and have created jobs so I am no burden!!!! I ask that you pray and help the children who are here undocumented as they humans not a statistic. The firm I am employed at as a Senior Paralegal is helping these children along with Catholic Charities New Orleans and Baton Rouge also the Hispanic Apostulate and many volunteers. I commend them all and may God bless you for helping those like me who are just here searching for a better and safe life.
