I am thrilled that Americans have waken up when it comes to stepping up to be a helpful partner in quelling the potential for a global outbreak of Ebola virus. Clearly, the Dallas hospital needs to upgrade its protocol standards, and we wish the nurses who were infected full recovery. How about this? How about we stop with the negativity about each other? With each passing day I see this challenge with the Ebola outbreak as an amazing opportunity. We can STOP hurting each other (ISIS focus) and focus on helping each other. We can STOP being careless, mindless, planetary destructors. We can START being responsible, thoughtful, considerate of how our smallest actions effect other people -- for example, the nurse who didnt have sense enough to not travel for 21 days! Thats a human being on Darwins short list. Pls visit my Facebook Page Global Healing Meditation: Transform Ebola and put your heart and thoughts for well-being in a focused, positive channel to spread information about proper hygiene and preventive steps. We need to give our full, open hearted support to everyone working on the Ebola outbreak in West Africa. This doesnt mean going there and telling everyone what to do. Small villages in Africa are putting their own simple, wise and effective measures into place. We are all learning. Ebola virus is going to be a FABULOUS TEACHER and a very clear mirror which we can use for self-reflection on how we care for one another every day, everywhere in the world. Panic is not a responsible choice. Lets quarantine our fear and up our health care game. Today, a new care facility is opening in Monrovia, Liberia. The U.S. military is being used to help people instead of degrading and destroying. Im thrilled my tax dollars are being used this way.
