I am trying my best to work through my parents divorce as openly and honestly as I can, explaining my feelings, without being negative, on social media. I have weighed every comment before its been posted. That being said, there are many details and complications to this situation, that most people do not know, and cannot understand. I believe my mom and I have done our best, to cope with what has been thrown at us the past few months, in a respectable way. We are hurting, in shock still, and trying our best to complete all the practical steps we have to take to adjust to our new normal. In time, we may be ready for relationship advice, but we are not ready for it yet. For those who know what has really happened, and have been supportive and loved us in our imperfection, we are ever so grateful. For those who must give advice, please ask us first, and we will explain the situation, before you assume you know how to help us. This is a good practice anyway... not just in our situation, but for dealing with all people, all the time.
