I am unable to understand the psyche behind majority-minority mindset both in people at large and the people at the helm of affairs. We are people of one nation although we may belong to one community, caste, religion, race and any and all such superficial differences which are in any case a construct of the mind. Eventually & essentially which group of common species I belong to? I belong to Human species who have the same structure with perhaps variations depending on the geographical locations, essentially & constitutionally the same mind which may have multitudes of opinions, desires, aspirations, dreams, wants or whatever and most importantly the same essence at the core of being. If anything can be called a minority it is the unit of individual because an individual is unique in himself/herself having his/her own individuality. Why not declare an individual as minority instead declaring a group of people as minority? The mind essentially divides as otherwise it cannot comprehend the totality. And the mind makes an attempt to understand the constituents of that totality without having to be conscious of the fact that those constituents belong to the whole without which the constituents have no existential reality. How idiotic it is if a group of cells or organ or a limb my body organism has to ask for a status of minority and special favours in the functioning of the total body orgainism. Any group asking for the minority status is as idiotic as this. And as a governing authority, to.entertain such a request is even more idiotic. Let us make this nation truly vibrant with the dynamism of each of the groups contributing to the total health of the nation as ONE.
