I am very proud to say that as of Aug 30 I was 3 years clean from crack cocaine. That drug turned me into a desperate person who didnt care about anything except the next hit. My family, my bills, my pets, gas in my car, food, and hygiene no longer mattered. At the time I knew I couldnt go on much longer, but I truly felt that the only way out was suicide; quitting seemed impossible. By the grace of God I am alive and clean today. My heart breaks for addicts that are still in active addiction and living a nightmare day after day.
