I am wondering why it will not be serving Boulder Creek if it is going to be in Boulder Creek. Additionally with so many possible locations for it, why are you putting it in our downtown and near our elementary school. In 1995 the California Public Utilities Commission advised cellular telephone companies not to build cell towers near schools or hospitals. In 1996 San Francisco banned cell towers from being built on school property. Many other counties around the country and in California including but not limited to Los Angelus Unified School District have also banned cell towers from being guilt on or near schools. Boulder Creek Elementary is 700 feet from the proposed tower, well within the 1000 foot radiation field; given the precedence’s listed why is this site even being considered? Additionally I do have some concerns regarding the radiation field it will emit. I understand that the FCC says it posses no health risks to the public but there is mounting documentation that says other wise, and the FCC has been wrong before. See current research and concerns below.
