I am writing this out of curiosity and dont get me wrong but if you can help me understand. Quite often I see a plea to free individual prisoners (victims) of the dictatorial regime in Asmara to mention some of the few adds (pleas) I see: Free Dawit Isaak, Free Suim, Free Aster, Free Bitweded. In Eritrea there are estimated 80, 0000 prisoners and about 10,000 of them political prisoners and 3,000 religious prisoners. There are so many prominent figures among the prisoners like the G-15 (Haile, Berhane, Beraki, etc...) the pop of Orthodox church and many other priests like Dr. Kiflu, Dr. Fitsum, etc... and many other Muslim brothers in the name jihad the list is limitless. Now if we have to advocate selectively what does it mean? Why not for all because all are Eritrean children? Why can’t we constantly plea to free our prisoners? What is the advantage of pleading for selected prisoners over the entire prisoners after all the entire nation is under siege. I would really appreciate any one who can help me understand the advantage of this advocacy for selected victims of the regime in Asmara?
