I, among others, have been challenged with the ALS ice bucket phenomenon. I will not be doing this in costume. My costumes would not survive such treatment, also I use them for charitable contributions at events etc. The California drought is also an issue. We seem to be in a no win situation. Donating & contributing money or time to charities you believe in is a PERSONAL matter. I do think that everyone should contribute to a greater good. So I have made donations of funds & of time to different organizations & causes. The ALS cause IS an important one, & there are many others as well. Below I have listed to not only ALS but to a few other organizations that are important to me, personally. I challenge YOU, everyone reading this to donate in anyway that you can & as you find appropriate to the causes that are important to you. You should be proud of your efforts, I hope & trust that they have been effective.
