I apologize if this is one of those mushy-gushy posts with far too many adjectives, but I feel so thankful for the last couple weeks. Two weeks vacation seemed so short in theory but actually felt so long and wonderful in the end. I cannot believe how much I accomplished in that time and the wonderful things I experienced. I got to see so much of Ontario, from Muskoka, to Algonquin, to Ottawa, to Kingston, to Toronto and beyond. Throughout this adventure I got to reconnect with family and friends I hadnt seen in quite some time. Unbelievably the last time I had been in Ottawa was when I left over a year and a half ago, which included leaving so many people I had spent so much time building friendships with. I am so grateful for the time I had in Ottawa, and it was so great to go back and reminisce, but I am also so happy with my decision to move to Toronto and the direction my life is headed. Many an opportunity await. Camping in Algonquin was probably the best time I have had in many years, for reasons I could probably never fully explain, and attending Arboretum run by some amazing people I have had the pleasure of knowing allowed me to reconnect with so many great people and was such a wonderful experience. I guess I am feeling sentimental coming to terms with the fact that I have to go to work tomorrow. But I take pleasure in the fact that I have not felt this relaxed in my entire life. School had always played such an immense roll on my conscious, and now being able to put that aside and enjoy life was truly a gift. Thanks to all who took part, and to those that I unfortunately missed along the way. I cant believe I have to work tomorrow... ugh...
