I applied several holes in a pot with a drill. I hooked up an air compressor to the pan with a tube that was divided into other tubes. one for each hole. I have attached my d700 to a structure of a mason for the camera perpendicular to the pot, without finding the tripod in the shot, at a distance of five feet from the pot, I set the machine in this way: 1/10s f22 iso 1000. I used a nikkor 14-24. I used a wide angle pushed because with a high depth of field and over because I wanted to simulate the effect that the popcorn hitting the observer. (The popcorn you see the nearest occupied at the time of the shooting at a distance of 1 cm from the lens.) I used a remote to control the shot. and receivers and transmitters to control two SB900 flash. to get the trails during shooting I used the continuous light. Manuel Cafini Photography
