Seeing results like this make all of the struggle worth it. Savannah has never been able to run up or down hills, but the idea that she may one day have that ability is amazing! Today has been a little frustrating for Savannah and I as she isnt able to walk around our house so I am needing to carry her everywhere. She is about 65lbs and only about 7 shorter than me so being able to physically lift her and keep her long body together is really hard for me. Today I tripped and fell down the stairs with her in my arms. :( We are sore and scraped up, but okay. It is just another reminder about how hard the rehab process is especially when you dont have a handicap accessible home. We are looking for another home, so please say a prayer that we can find something accommodating and in our price range. Savannah is progressing along so well and her PTs are very happy to see her body changing for the better. The changes we are seeing are so encouraging!
