I appreciate Im getting a bit older and probably a bit grumpier (hard to believe I know) but politicians are really getting up my nose at the moment. 2 points in question! Firstly, why is the energy minister bleating on about making it easier to switch from one supplier to the next. The truth is they are all thieving gits, so swapping one for another doesnt exactly help the situation and why therefore does the numty presenter on BBC insist on talking about the optimum period for a switch rather than asking the important question which is; what is the minister is going to do to get prices down. Secondly why do all politicians claim that the record number of youth unemployment is down to poor education, immigration, lack of parenting, poor moral upbringing, fear of hard work etc etc. Why not mention the main reason which is that because they have balls up the pension arrangements and made everyone work longer, jobs are not being freed up for the youngsters to get. Is it too obvious or am I missing a point here? Grump over, thanks for listening.
