I appreciate the founders of original KRN, Saya & Rose. In KRN, you gave us a platform to unite and freely share experiences, opinions and challenges. The hallmark of mankind is co-existence albeit myriad differences in judgement. We have had powerful messages emanating from this forum that some have found their way into shaping and informing high level decision makings. Indeed #KipsigisGotTalents , though largely unexploited. This platform has equally exposed our soft underbelly inherent in mankind. We have seen voices of reason, of discord, of unity, of intolerance, of wisdom, of humanity, and tonnes of knowledge. Similarly, we have demonstrated how suspicious and envious we can be as a community. We have demonstrated leadership skills yet huge appetite for dominance, undemocratic principles, suppressionary tendencies, and endless charitable hearts. As a family, we are elated by the news that Vicky landed safely in her new abode, however events preceding her departure put to real test the elasticity of our societal fabrics and ability to resolve emerging and perceived internal feuding. Sadly, we failed this test. We saw love and hatred in equal measure. The bigger picture here is how porous, exposed and fragile we are. We did not need to form splinter groups. We can agree to disagree from within. We can do better. Good day everyone.
