I, as many of you have expressed ahead of me, am deeply saddened by the loss of Robin Williams. This man was my hero growing up and Ive always adored Flubber, Jumanji, Aladdin, Hook, RV, The Birdcage, etc. His performance in Mrs. Doubtfire will always be my favorite but what he represented in Patch Adams will always resonate deeply. Its particularly heartbreaking to think that Robin Williams couldve used the help from his character, Hunter Adams. I cant seem to wrap my head around him committing suicide... it just goes to show you that even the least likely of candidates suffer from depression. As he says in Patch Adams: You treat a disease, you win, you lose. You treat a person, I guarantee you, youll win, no matter what the outcome. Help someone if you can, it could save a life. RIP Robin Williams, you revolutionized comedy and touched so many while doing so.
