I ask those who complain about Obamas No strategy yet comment what they think he meant by that. I also ask them what they think a proper strategy would be, realizing of course that to bomb Syria would be an act of war, and when about a year ago, when Obama asked congress to authorize his bombing of Syria they sat on their hands because they didnt want to make any decisions combined with the fact that they were confused because Obama wanted it so they must be against it, but they like bombing countries. So better to sit and do nothing. Now add to this thinking the fact that ISIS can never be defeated from the outside. What this means is that if the western world defeats them militarily, they will still have their radical agenda floating around and more will come to take their place much like the Taliban who retreats until we leave and then resurfaces again to raise havoc. Another thing to consider is that the express purpose of ISIS and Al Queda is to involve America in a land war which will divert and stretch their resources and ultimately bankrupt us much like the USSR in the 80s. So, the only real way to defeat them is to defeat the ideology, which can only be done by other muslim countries and armies combined with a re-education of the entire region. Now what is your plan? Obamas is trying to line up countries in the region to do most of the ground war, but that takes time and diplomacy. And since they have not signed on yet, there is no plan yet. Its pre-mature to say what any plan is, and even if he did, you on the right would complain that you never tell the enemy what your plan is, and call him a stupid leader. Understand?
