I asked these two questions of myself and by the end of this exercise my heart was completely healed. Part 1 Who do I want to be? Firstly, I want to be a servant of God. Whatever is asked of me from the Cosmos/Heavenly Father is what will be served first. Second, I want to be a better parent. To be as hands on with the sculpting of this tiny human as I am with the sculpting of my various businesses and every other damn thing I do that feeds my ego but not my spirit. Thirdly, I wish to serve the heart woman of Tatia Rose. To cherish a loving mate who I share my life with and with whom I have faith in for our journeys past, present, and future. Fourth, I want to do work that only has to do with serving the life I have outlined above. Passion and truth in every pen stroke, deal, announcement, and debate. Fifth, I want to honor my friendships with the highest commitment that comes from knowing we are only blessed to know each other a short while and we should love each other as much as possible. Sixth, how I want to die… now this may seem strange but life and death are all part of the same journey and knowing who you are in death is as important as life. I want to die watching the sunset at the farm, with my grandkids just having visited… with my friends just having visited… with the money I made paying for my retirement being made honestly and purposefully... and with the ones that gave me life and love waiting on the other side or by my side. Part 2 Who am I? I am a servant of God. I may fail Him at times, but I know that my errors are human and not malevolent. I am a good parent. A good parent always wants to be better. I have no guilt, no fear, just love for Sophia, and I know in my heart I will give her everything I have to give. My heart... I am loved and I love. What the future holds, I don’t know. And God tells me tonight that I don’t need to know but be grateful for knowing what love really is. My work is amazing. I get to change the course of people’s careers. I work with farmers and two of the largest energy companies in the world to answer questions and solve problems that affect the global markets. I help people with special needs and have received their gift of grace. My friends… I have great friends, but I could be a better friend and I’m working on that, and I thank the ones I have for their patience and love. They must REALLY love me because they’ve tolerated a lot lol. Sixth… this journey is still being written, but I know if continue to ask these questions and answer them... I will see that sunset.
