I attended the Seminar on Executive Branch of the federal - TopicsExpress

I attended the Seminar on Executive Branch of the federal government in Irvine with the Orange Club last weekend. Roger Minami, a former political appointee within the Administration of President George W. Bush in the Agriculture and Transportation Departments, gave a speech on rule making. Government rules resulting from government laws have had a big impact on the Chinese community. So the members of Orange Club are eager to know the process of government rulemaking and how they can participate and impact government rulemaking for the benefit of the Chinese community. Betty Chu, the former mayor of Monterey Park also attended the seminar as a special guest and delivered a short speech. The Orange Club is currently working hard on supporting the SJR 23 and protesting Bob Beckle’s racist comments. I was impressed by the passion and professionalism of the club members.
