I believe dreams come true..... I believe in fairy tales..... I believe the impossible is possible.... As I sat in the lobby of the Rivercenter Mariott in my hometown of San Antonio with Author Ruth Cardello, Author Melody Anne, Author JL Redington and Lynn Raye Harris talking, discussing books and hearing words of encouragement from these Amazon, New York Times and USA Today best selling authors I find myself overcome with emotion. From the time my mother bought me my first Golden Book until this day 53 years later my greatest passion has been 26 letters. For those 26 letters turn into words, that are turned into books, that are written by authors. For this little black girl from Arkansas and Texas that grew up in the harsh realities of racial divide and knowing her place, her dream has become reality, her fairy tale has come true and the impossible has been made possible. To sit with these ladies that put pen to paper, that create different worlds, that are who I inspire to be is my dream, my impossible, my fairy tale. Never give up, dont stop believing, find and live your passion, dream the impossible, become the heroine in your own fairy tale and no matter what obstacles are in your path...reach for the moon and you just may land amongst the stars.
