I brought home a 14 week old aby kitten from a breeder 3 days ago. Although very excited, I am also concerned because she is has been throwing up daily since I got her. She is already a bit skinny, ( wasnt when she was breast feeding though). Her vomit is full of whole kitty kibble, which I am only feeding her while I slowly make the transition to raw cat food. The breeder had her on a diet of Royal Canin Kitten dry kibble and well as canned food, which I was planning on continuing for a few weeks to ease her transition. But now I am wondering if I should stop feeding the kibble? I tried a grain free type of kibble today, in case it was an allergy to wheat or corn. But unfortunately she threw up the grain free kibble too :( It is always right after she eats the dry food but not the wet food, that she throws up. Maybe she eats the dry stuff too fast? It doesnt look chewed at all. I am hoping that it is her diet and not something more serious ( that I have less control over). Has anyone else had this problem with a new kitten? Besides this, she seems to be fine, very playful and affectionate. She is drinking lots of water and seems to have a good appetite besides not being able to keep everything down.
