I called Bamboo Garden in Alabaster to place an order and I ordered sesame chicken. It was on there lunch special. I ordered it with no sauce. When I got it, the chicken had sauce on it and it was bright red. I called Bamboo Garden to ask if it had ANY red food dyes because my sister is deathly allergic. The store manager answered and was very rude about my question. She huffed at me and got very snappy. She told me there was no red food dye in it but i did not believe her so I went to the store to confront her with my food. When I asked for the ingredient label (which is required to have on hand by law) she said is was to long for me to read. I requested it anyway. She brought me an invoice in Chinese. I asked her one more time for the ingredients and then she went to the back and started yelling. She brought me up a huge can and said here. It also was in Chinese. Then she proceeded to take money out of the register and throw it at me and said here is your money back now leave. I asked for the owner and she started to yell at me and said the owner was in China and I needed to leave. My sister could have died if she had eaten the food, and the manager was very rude about it. Please consider this if you have family or friends with food allergies.
