I can always tell who youve been talking to, by the things that you say. When youve been talking to The Father, you sound like Him and His Word. When youve been talking to the devil and his crowd, you sound like them. My mother would say, birds of a feather, flock together. Heres the deal, you cant realize success, healing, whole-ness, and peace by listening to/talking to people who are negative, critical, complainers. Truth be told, it really doesnt matter how much money or material things a person has because monetary value alone is NOT good success. So a person can be wealthy but spew death. However, if youre in pursuit of The Father and His plan and purpose for your life, you MUST use wisdom in who you choose to talk to. The Word tells us, Blessed is the man, that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly... Notice this passage didnt say, blessed is the man that walks in the counsel of the wealthy, the movers and the shakers. The Bible undoubtedly teaches that THE BLESSING is associated with Godliness, not wealth, not popularity, not connections, not hookups, etc but Godliness. The Blessing is accessed through obedience to the truth of Gods Word. Sometime ago, I read that the primary viewers that watch The Jerry Springer show, Maury, and those types of shows are middle to upperclass Americans. The article went on to say that this upper echelon watched these programs because it made them feel better about their own lives. By most people standards this typical viewer would be considered successful; but I will go out on a limb and say, that if you have to watch family members fighting over the same person, or someone not knowing who their childs father is for entertainment, then Biblically youre NOT BLESSED. Certainly thats NOT good success. People of God, I pray that we are more discerning, led by the Spirit of God, as wise as a serpent, yet as harmless as a dove. I pray that wed sound more like our Heavenly Father, and less like the father of this world. Ive been accused of ALWAYS talking about The Lord, and Im sure it was meant as an insult, but in truth it was the highest compliment Ive ever been paid. Its an honor to sound like my Father, it reminds me that Ive been spending time with Him. Be blessed and know if God be for you, who dare be against you, greater is He, that is in you, than he thats in the world. #bestrongintheLord #keepthefaith
