I can easily quantify the number of miles traveled by car and foot, the number of parks and mountains Ive seen, and the number of friends, old and new, and family that I have seen in this last week. I can, with more difficulty, account in terms of a percentage how significantly these numbers compare to the average week. The answer, in terms of rounding and diction, is staggeringly. With an extraordinary challenge, I also might have found similar high outliers for the number of smiles and laughs I made and saw, memories that were formed, and adventures I partook in. I cannot, however, quantify the vast elation Ive had in going through the rapid and packed catching up with everyone I saw this break, with many people for the first time in years. There is no way to explain how glad and relaxed I am, nor how relieved I have become to have gotten a break and to have seen everyone I saw. To everyone I hung out with, conversed with, or missed this break, thank you. This was a week with the worth of an entire year.
