I can now tell you all more about these babies ... they could care less about the cats. Since I first met them, I have not heard a peep out of them. Not one single bark. They are completely silent. Ruger has no idea what life in a house is like. Hes never had a collar or harness on. He is doing great with these new things. Including being in his crate is fine and hes had no accidents. Hes been beaten at some point and flinches at times. He is super mellow! He likes car rides and they both enjoyed their freedom burgers. They also meet and accept new people very well! Ive been soaking Guccis leg and started her on antibiotics and pain meds. However it is still swelling up. She needs vet care first thing tomorrow. Total vetting for both will be 6-700.-. It will be more if anything more is required for Guccis leg. This amount will include their s/n, combo hw test, first flea/tick preventive, worming them, all their vaccinations, an X-Ray for Guccis leg. Boarding at roughly 15.- per day for how long? Im at a loss. This was NOT supposed to happen like this! So the decision is ... do we do all this and then they sit in boarding indefinitely? Or do I have them PTS tomorrow. Any input and ideas would be great. My bestie, Nicole Barrie met them today and she left in tears. Their little bodies are beaten and scarred, their spirit is sweet but they also have a sadness about them. Theyre also not very big kids. Gucci is about 40 lbs and Ruger about 43-45 lbs.
