I can really know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead. (Phil 3:10) Paul said that it is possible to really know Christ, and there is great benefit in that - we experience power in our lives that can only come from God. Now knowing Christ doesnt mean knowing theology, knowing the most Bible verses. It doesnt even mean knowing the church and all thats associated with it. No, knowing Christ means knowing Him intimately in our hearts, knowing what it means to experience His love in our lives, knowing what it means to experience His love and grace in our lives. Our goal as Christians should be to know God intimately so that we can experience Him, not in our heads, but in our hearts.
