I cannot put into words my anger at this administration over this. The president is without having to seek permission, totally dismantle the Military by removing benefits that were all part of the package when we signed up to fight, train, and protect this country. What many do not understand, is that over 50% of all active duty enlisted servicemen and women live BELOW the poverty level, and qualify for food stamps. Yet very few accept them. This would be a huge loss to them. Also to retired veterans living on fixed incomes. I am full of this BS about belt tightening. The people who can ill afford this are the ones that are being asked to tighten their belts and accept it. While Congress and the President continue to throw cubic dollars at foreign governments that hate us, want to see us dead. And these are the people that are on the front line to defend America against them. Understand this, No reduction in benefits are acceptable, because if one is allowed, then they will take more. We have already lost our free medical care for life, we have lost our free dental for life... now they want to take our food. If ever there was a need for a complete cleansing of our government, and the need to get back to defending and protecting our constitution, it is now. Our for-fathers are turning over in their graves right now over the goings on in Washington DC these days. Please take the time to let your congressional and senate leaders know that military benefits are hands off. Our military is depending on you to do your part.
