***** SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE ***** Yakima Sunrise Rotary Club Memorial Service Scholarships. The Sunrise Rotary Club of Yakima is seeking nominations for Yakima-area senior students to our Memorial Service Scholarship program. Three scholarships in the amounts of $3,000, $2,000 and $1,000 will be awarded to students who have shown a commitment to community service. The ideal candidate: · Has been actively involved in community service for four or more years; and · Has exemplified good citizenship in their scholastic setting and has plans to further their education. Preference will be given to seniors who plan to attend an institution of higher learning within the State of Washington. If you know of students who fit our criteria, you may give them a copy of the scholarship application (ZHS Seniors may pick them up from Mr. Griffin in the GC on Friday) and have them return by March 7
