I cant believe that its already been almost 5 months since I joined these guys. This is a clip from what was my 23rd birthday, my first rehearsal, my first show, and essentially my try-out for Begat The Nephilim all in one. I had only really heard the material in the form of midi files and wrote all of my parts based on the guitar tabs from Guitar Pro over the course of maybe two weeks leading up to this night. This was day one in what I hope to be the next many, many years of my life. Since then Ive decided to ditch my glasses on stage and play blind, completely re-written almost all of my parts, and started going absolutely crazy on stage (whenever capable). I love these boys. I love every moment I spend on and off stage with them. Every show is a lesson in humility, pain, and endurance. This is my future as an artist, and I will love every day of it.
