I cant emphasize enough how grateful and honored I am for all this support behind Creative Room and even behind me personally. Had another little setback last night in that we will probably not be using the church location in Owen Park much anymore. Despite my efforts of delivering letters and speaking with neighbors some are still not happy about noise and parked cars clogging their neighborhood streets. Police came out but they were super nice and helpful about it especially once they found out the reason behind what we were trying to do. Funnily enough by the end they were racking their brains trying to think up alternate locations to have all ages shows! Everyone was well behaved last night so I gotta say it had nothing to do with any of the awesome people who came out to the show. What it boils down to is this: we gotta get back to our home on 6th Street. Its gonna happen. Too many people need this and want to see a space like Creative Room survive and eventually thrive. So many fundraising efforts are in the works and so much behind the scenes support that I could tell stories for days. So thank YOU Tulsa. Dont give up on me and everyone else involved, because Im not giving up on you.
