I cant even begin to describe how blessed I am! For those of you who dont know, I have been having blurry vision in my right eye for quite some time now and so on March 28th I went to an optometrist to find out what was going on. After the initial exam the Doctor looked at me and said you have a detached retina so he sent me to go see a retina specialist that same day. Once I got to the retina specialist and after the initial exam there he looked at my right eye and said Well, its not a detached retina. But we need to get you in for an ultra sound. The doctor did the ultra sound on my eye and right away I could tell something was wrong, he said that I have a tumor in my right eye that is too large to operate on. My mom and dad were in the room with me and we all in such shock from the news(still are). So they said we need to go see this other surgeon/specialist in Dalllas who will decide my treatment options and the final plan. So far, the only treatment options we know of are a radiaton plaque or removal of the eye. We are going to go see the third doctor the surgeon on Tuesday at 7:30am. I am being surrounded by GREAT family and friends who are sending lots of love and prayers my way, and I can most certainly feel them. Its not the best circumstance to find out this way but I can definitely see how many people really love and care for me!! THANK YOU TO EVERYONE OUT THERE WHO IS PRAYING FOR ME AND MY FAMILY, WE REALLY APPRECIATE IT! WE CAN ALSO FEEL ALL THE LOVE AS WELL!!
