I cant get Collen to hold up one of the signs that you see around online of people looking for long lost family members due to adoption, etc...so heres the story. If anyone knows how to find this young lady, wed appreciate it. (Were doing a family history project.) Collen has a sister who is slightly older than him. They have the same dad, Richard Lee Smith, but different moms of course. Her mothers name was Connie Thiel and she lived in either Neosho or Joplin when Carly Dawn was born. However she may have been born in Wisconsin. Please note I do NOT know nor have I ever met her mother. I married her dad after she was born. The girls name at time of birth was Carly Dawn. The story that I was given was that she was given up for adoption and is alleged to be in Wisconsin somewhere. She should be approximately 15 or 16 years old now. I have tried to find a Carly Thiel on Facebook, but none of them are the right age, or known location. Since she was adopted theres a possibility that she no longer has that name. What kid her age doesnt have an iPhone or access to Facebook? So I am taking a chance in hopes that someone might know who she is. Its still a long shot. She more than likely has no idea that Collen even exists but he knows about her and would like to get to know her. One more thing about her, she was also a bit premature, according to Richard.
