I cant get over Irving Chongs book review of No Matter the Wreckage. Irving writes: I knew I was in trouble after I read “Love Poem #137. If Sarah Kay’s No Matter The Wreckage was an album, I would have listened to “Love Poem “137’’ on repeat for months believing the rest of the album couldnt get any better. Lucky for me the pages kept turning... After the first go around, I realize I didnt read Wreckage. I absorbed it. This isnt my first book of poetry. It is the first that feels like it was written for me... Sarah’s words reach out and beg your thoughts and feelings to fill the empty spaces. You’re in this together. Even if youve never met.
