I cant speak for other areas of the state. But the Department of transportation in my area has been putting a big emphasis on workplace safety at accident scenes around here. Lately we have had early warning flares on both sides of the road about 1/2 mile prior to the wreck, an arrow board, a sheer of flares, another DOT truck and a couple of state patrol cars at most scenes. The extra measure of safety is much appreciated.
