I changed my profile picture to a picture of my nephew, Craig Armstrong, me and Grandma Ginger who lived to be 20. At the time Craig visited, she was much younger but not socialized. Her best friend, Nanique, had passed. Ginger was my only peep. When Craig came into the house, she was really naughty, trying to bite him, and I just wanted to give up! Then Craig said to give her to him, and I did, and he said: Ginger, I am not leaving until we have made friends. Then he talked to her and I could not hear what he said, but you see the end result, they were friends! I am trying to make a point, here, that it really is never the breed, it is the deed. Somehow, Ginger knew he was my friend, relative, and she said: Its OK, I like you, Craig. So please keep this in mind when you ADOPT a peep, that you understand the breed, and it will always be the deed if you do not understand. I cherish this picture because Ginger was never really tough, but just rather protective, but Craig knew the way. So when you ADOPT, make sure you understand its NEVER, in my mind, the breed, its the deed.
