I condemned the forcible conversion of Muslims in Uttar Pradesh. The way the Sangh Parivar and its front organisations like the RSS and the Bajrang Dal are aiming to change the demographic picture of the country is extremely alarming, Around 57 Muslim families participated in a “ghar wapsi” ceremony organised by Bajrang Dal’s Dharm Jagran Manch on Monday. ‘Ghar Wapsi’ literally means ‘return home’ A day later, these families are alleged that they had been promised ration cards and money in exchange for participating in the religious conversion ceremony. It was a planned exercise targeting poor Muslims, who were lured in the name of ration cards, money and water supply etc. That the dirtiest of vote-bank politics being playing in the secular country by the RSS and the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). the said Agra conversions is an attack on the countrys secular fabric and vitiating the atmosphere in the country, They just want to create tension. Our nation is run by a constitution which has secularism as a pillar. It is fundamental duty of every citizen and government to protect the constitutional value and its rights and government is responsible to take care of the safety of the life and religious beliefs of people. The far-right RSS has been banned several times in India after a former member assassinated Mahatma Gandhi in 1948, the group campaigned to build a Hindu temple at the place of a medieval mosque in the northern town of Ayodhya. The mosque was eventually demolished in 1992. they always preaching hate, supremacy of Hindus against minorities, and having a sectarian and militant agenda. The government to guarantee religious freedom of minorities, as enshrined in the countrys constitution. The country needs reassurance that the Constitution will not be violated.
