I continue to be baffled. The entire point of Obamacare is to mandate participation by all to conver the costs of those that cannot afford it. It literally all hinges on people enrolling and paying. It is the most important aspect of the entire law. Yet, enrollment continues to be plagued by issues. Why did they choose a Canadian company with a history of failure to build the exchanges? Why is it costing billions to fix this system yet it continues to be broken? Incidentally, have you seen the deductibles? Acoording to a plan on the TN exchange, I could get a plan for just $49 a month. WITH A $10,000 DEDUCTABLE! If I gotta drop 10 gs before this free healthcare kicks in, Why in the hell would I fork over 50 bucks a month for the right to do so? Of course you can lower that deductable by paying more monthly but I have a theory.: They know the majority is going to pick the cheapest monthly plans. If one Plan is $50 a month and another $250 a month and you HAVE to choose one. Most are runnin at that $50. Not thinking or caring about the deductable. Then the moment they go to use their free healthcare the insurance says You gotta pay for that broken arm because your $10,000 deductible isnt met yet. Is a young healthy person, on average, EVER going to meet a deductable that high? No. So the deductables are actually a deterant to use the very healthcare they are forced to pay for. Here is the reality. They want single payer. They want s fully socialized healthcare system where the government runs it all. They didnt even bother faking this illusion of choice very well. They know healthcare, as it is written, will not work. Was never designed to. So they didnt even bother making the damn site to sign up operational. This is turning into a bigger hustle than the creation of the federal reserve.
