I copied this from a young mans thoughts on Heroin. There are several reasons why people turn to heroin. One is they simply dont know. Someone, who is usually a friend or love interest, offers the drug to them and they try it because they trust the other person. Another is the recreational drug user who moves from one drug to another in search of a better high, but once they try heroin, theyre addicted. Its affordable...it cost less than marijuana, initially. It can come in a pill filled with powder that you can snort, so its no longer considered a dirty drug that you have to inject. Im normally up this early to get my kiddos ready for school. Today is different but too familiar for me. Today was the 3rd overdose death in a week and a half that I received a phone call on. Everyone can do something, whether its sharing on Facebook or educating their kids. I choose to use my role in order to change the minds of those who stereotype an addict and let those who are making this drug readily available know that Im coming for them...
