I couldnt decide if I was going to say anything, but the more I thought about it, theres just something that is bothering me a little.... Maybe I noticed it more than others because I had a front row seat, or because I was a KHS cheerleader once upon a time , but did anyone else notice the football players sitting on their hands, not giving a rats butt about the big city wide pep rally Monday night? They didnt cheer for the girls performing on the field, for the nominees or anything! In fact most of them talked the entire time and didnt even face the field! I also noticed that they didnt even know the Fight Song! Are you kidding? When I was a cheerleader at KHS, the football players sat watching or participating in the pep rally! They even, ALL, sang along with the band and cheerleaders to the fight song! I feel that if your going to bring the entire community out to a pep rally to Revive the Pride, and support the football team, then the football team needs to atleast act interested and excited about Homecoming week!
