I decided to do a little experiment last week. For a few days (4 to be exact) I wore a bra I found in the back of my drawer that I hadnt worn in several years (and was not really the right size anymore)...not terrible, but not ideal either. It was always a favorite so I held onto it, and I wore it exclusively for those 4 fateful days last week. Ugh. I cant believe how it ruined my week. I had rolls of back fat that I didnt know existed..they came out of the top and bottom of the band. I was itchy...oh, was I itchy. I found myself pulling and yanking on the bottom of the band and the top of the cups...there just was no comfortable position. It was pinching me. I was squished together in the middle and had cleavage in my neck. Not pretty. One night while I was making dinner,I actually unhooked the back and wore it like that throughout the course of dinner with my family! Thats how bad it was. It hurt. And then it hurt some more when I finally took it off....I think my body was crying out you traitor!! Anyway...so after the 4 days of agony I went back to my current favorite bra (a pretty yellow Chantelle number) that fits, feels and looks beautiful. It was like slipping into a warm bath after the experience I had. It was so comfortable...no pulling, squeezing, pinching, itching...just AHHH...it fit.
