I despise society. Here I was, living quietly along a marshy - TopicsExpress

I despise society. Here I was, living quietly along a marshy trout pond full of ducks, geese, blue heron, wildlife, etc. which has access from the provincial highway. Some Wildlife Association decided they wanted a walking path through it, despite those of us who live here protesting vehemently. Just like that they have a permit and are crashing through the habitat with a backhoe, chainsaws, just a Massacre of the small area.. because they think it will be touristy for people to be able to walk across the farm field that is leased to my neighbour and farmed yearly. So heartbreaking.. here they are breaking through what used to be nature, and they have been at it for over a week now and didnt even mention it to me or my friend with the lease. Will the loon family return? How many nests will survive? Why can crown lands people just hand out a permit without more scrutiny? Ruining the little bit of untouched land despite there being trails, picnic areas and a tower all around the pond. Fix up that shit first instead of dragging your garbage through here. And the costs? Just criminal, these old men with big ideas who dont actually LIVE right here. How many other of these people sit nightly at dusk and watch the fish jump while the big heron flies over? Who else knows how many loons are raised each summer.. it has been here all along and no one gives a shit...opening up the privately leased farm field wont change that, other than future phases that include garbage bins and porta potties. Disgusting. Wasnt even up for discussion. Lac du Bonnet sucks and will continue to suck as long as people get away with doing whatever the hell they please. Assholes. Anybody wanna buy a house by the new exciting walking path through the wheat field? They are pushing more than just the wildlife away.
