I did a good deed. I asked the child support collection agency to stop all collection activity of my ex, Ralph, and to forgive the arrears in full. They called me yesterday and asked me if I was sure thats what I wanted to do. I said yes, Im sure. She then asked if I was aware that the amount owed was $105,000.00. WT?! No, I did not know that. Yes, I still want you to forgive the debt. Theyre sending me the documents to sign and theyll file them, and he will be free to get a drivers license, a real job, and to maybe live some type of life if he wants to. Hopefully itll help him continue to work at doing good for his new baby. Its not like hed ever be able to repay it all anyway. I was laughing yesterday when I told Brian and said watch him get some huge inheritance the day after the debt is erased...lol As much of an ass as he was and as crazy as he is, the kids were safer with him.
