I did not think the day would come where I shared a Cosmo article on my Facebook page (for no reason other than I havent read Cosmo since I was in my very early 20s), but this is a good one. Ive addressed every single one of these on my page this week. Im appalled by the level of misinformation people possess on this case. I appreciate a difference of opinion when its rooted in facts, but many of the things Ive read are frighteningly inaccurate. Someone told me yesterday that it is what it is and I need to just accept it and shut up and move on (exact quote: Im unfortunately going to stop following laura willard due to the sharing of this subject! Waste of time! The Supreme Court is the Supreme Court. If not happy with the decision there is a point the subject should be dropped!), but Im unwilling to do that. Change doesnt occur when people are quiet and complacent. This is a good article to help make sense of what many of us find unacceptable.
