I didnt post this online because if I was in the same situation Id home someone would help me as well and I wasnt looking for a pat on the back. About 2 weeks ago I drove to the other coast of Florida to help my friend move. She had gotten herself into a situation where she couldnt keep any of her pets. She was a small rescue so she had a lot on her plate. The first night she threatened one of my friends that if she couldnt let her cats and rats stay at her house that she was going to dump them on the side of the road. I came to help her move stuff and transport dogs. I got a phone call from her about halfway there telling me that Im going to probably have to take all of her dogs. I couldnt do that, nor was I going to. My dogs have been fighting with the other fosters so why add more to the mess? She told me that her dogs can stand up for themselves really? She was begging me to take them over the phone yet I told her, no, you need to find rescues to take them and I will transport them. I transported 4 rats, 2 cats, 2 geckos, and 2 dogs. WHILE I WAS BROKE. I had to pay bills and take my cat to the vet yet I made time and found the money to drive all the way over to Palm Bay and then down to Dunedin and back home in one day. Were no longer friends because she tried telling my dad that her puppy didnt give their dog an eye infection, when she came home like that. I dont even know what to say. She wants to throw me in jail because I dont want to give her her puppy back because the place she moved into has 3 aggressive dogs there that have already killed a puppy and fight among themselves. Choose your friends wisely.
