I didnt want to do this but I just cant hold it back anymore. This is making it 5 years since I have known this guy. He is (as much as I remember) the first atheist I ever came to know one-on-one. I used to go to his office and service his systems sometimes. He is a nice dude. Recently, he developed interest in politics. He is currently vying for a seat in the Senate (Federal Republic of Nigeria). Last week, his secretary called on me to rectify a minor issue on their server, while I was trying to figure out the problem, he came to me and asked if I was aware he was going for a thanksgiving mass on Sunday (30/11/2014). Being ignorant of that and totally shocked at the same time, I nodded my head sideways meaning I was not aware. He said he would love to see me there. At the service, during donation, the dude pledged to roof the church building all alone. As I was about to recover from the shock, he sent me to an abysmal coma when he said he noticed the priests car was old and that he would see to the acquisition of a new vehicle for the priest. Unconscious as somebody in coma, the Holy spirit and the angels of heaven were working tirelessly to resuscitate me, I was at the verge of gaining some consciousness when I started hearing people talking by my side...... Last time, he spored some pilgrims to Israel, I heard he shared Bible to the entire community last time He is a god fearing man this is the type of people we need to occupy the seat of power in this country blah blah blah..... These discussions spelt my ultimate death, if not for the love of Zeus, I wouldnt be alive today posting this. During the reception at his residence, I wanted to make sure he saw I respected his demand (that I should come), I tried to make some moves pass him so he could notice my presence which he did. He called out to me, I walked up to him with a big smile on my face but what I could not hide was what would come out of my mouth. I looked him straight in the eyes and said to him, Sir, you really tried for them today, god bless you, knowing fully well that I was being sarcastic, he couldnt look into my eyes to say thank you. Up till this moment, I am still asking myself if this truly happened.
